Motorsource, Inc. is a used vehicle dealer, licensed by the State of Illinois. Although we operate under the same licensure, there are many differences between Motorsource, Inc. and a traditional dealership. We do not have any of the commissions or salespeople you would find at a traditional dealership, and we operate a pressure-free environment. Absolutely Yes! Not only will we consider any vehicle for trade-in, but we will also offer to purchase any vehicle. We regularly purchase vehicles from the public. Just bring your vehicle to Motorsource, Inc. and we will quickly appraise your vehicle and pay you for your vehicle on the spot. Most of our customer do choose to trade-in their vehicles, as we are extremely fair, and there is often a generous tax-advantage to trading in you existing vehicle when making a vehicle purchase. Still owe on your trade-in vehicle? No problem- we will facilitate payoff of your trade-in vehicle.
While many of the vehicles in our inventory have remaining factory warranty, we sell all of our vehicles AS-IS. Many of the vehicle in our inventory qualify for purchase of a Extended Service Contract. Read more about the extended service contracts we sell here.
The bulk of our inventory is purchased from well-regarded national leasing companies and government agencies. These companies and agencies are well-known for their rigorous maintenance programs and well-maintained vehicles. Some of our favorite sources include: Element, Wheels Inc, Enterprise Fleet Management and GSA. We focus our buying in salt-free regions, with the majority of our vehicles coming from the West.
Our low-overhead business model gives us a tremendous advantage over traditional dealers. We use technology to buy better vehicles at lower prices. We then sell these vehicles to other dealers and the public at low haggle-free prices. No retail markup, salespeople, or commissions here! Our prices are so low that many of our vehicle sales end up being to other dealers, who purchase vehicles from our warehouse and in turn mark them up and sell the from their own locations.
Some of the vehicles in our inventory can be financed at the dealership through a national finance company. They offer an instant prequalification process you can complete before visiting the dealership. The financing process can usually be completed in under an hour. None of the lenders offer business financing, financing in company name or finance cargo vans or commercial vehicles.
We accept bank wire transfers, cashiers checks, money orders, Zelle, or cash. No credit, debit or other cards are accepted. We would also be happy to cooperate with your own bank or credit union, should you wish to arrange your own financing. We would be happy to provide them with a draft of the purchase agreement in advance, and will accept a cashier’s check or wired funds from them for your vehicle purchase.
We sell all of our vehicles in a low-price, wholesale-style warehouse environment. We sell only vehicles with clean titles. No rebuilt, salvage, reconstructed, or flood title vehicles are offered here. All of our vehicles are cleaned prior to being offered for sale, and are offered with the Carfax Buyback Guarantee. While our vehicles are prepared for sale, they may have minor scratches, dings, chips, touch-ups, antenna plugs, and/or previous repairs associated with the age and mileage of the vehicle. Keep in mind that no used vehicle is perfect, and expect normal cosmetic and mechanical wear.
We do permit test drives and vehicle inspections prior to purchase. Also, we sell Extended Service Contracts offered by several national companies. Read more about our Extended Service Contracts here.
While we do not ship customer vehicles, we would be happy to cooperate with any transport company you wish to contract with. We would also be happy to help you arrange door-to-door transport with a reputable third party carrier. Please call for details.
